Women in the Wild Ambassadors
Ambassadors are members who go above and beyond to support the Women in the Wild community. They host free events (hikes, climb sessions, ski/snowboard days, etc.) in their respective areas and keep the community engaged, creating opportunities for members to connect and meet one-another in group settings.

Colorado
Alexandra Mikros
Originally from Chicago, I grew up visiting my grandparents in Estes Park, Colorado, back when it was still a small mountain town. I fell in love with the Rockies as a kid, and moved across-country after high school to attend college in Denver. I've been hiking, climbing and skiing ever since! After graduating and living in 4 states and 5 countries over the last 14 years, I'm back in Denver, and right back into the beautiful outdoors here. I'm so excited to share my favorite trails and sites in the front range!

Missouri, Arkansas
Ashley Meredith
From backpacking trips in the Appalachian mountains, to kayak-camping on the coast; from studying and snorkeling in the Galapagos to learning how to ski at the ripe old age of 23 - I love trying new things and meeting new people! After serving as a trip leader in college and spending the last 7 years getting kids outside, I am excited to continue connecting people to the outdoors and each other! I am a certified Wilderness First Responder and you’ll catch me mountain biking, hiking, camping, climbing, and paddling in the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas. You might also see a trip now and then to Western North Carolina or Virginia!

Pennsylvania
Caeley Grady
Hi y'all! My favorite outdoor activities are backpacking, canoeing, caving, and stand up paddleboarding. I have been working in the outdoor industry for the past 10 years and I currently work as the Adventure Coordinator at a university with their climbing wall and adventure trips programs.

Vermont
Haley
Haley (like the comet) is a professional hiking and backpacking guide from Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, where she lived and guided for 14+ years. She recently moved to the Northeast Kingdom and is now an innkeeper at The Woodshed Lodge in Jay, Vermont.
She is a long distance backpacker and has completed the Arizona, Colorado and Hayduke Trails as well as thousands of off trail trips in Grand Canyon. For her next "big hike" she hopes to complete The Long Trail.
If you're in Northern Vermont and looking for a new hiking friend, she is open for conversation!

Jenn Crane
Hi! I’m Jenn Crane, based in Western NY and often exploring the beautiful Finger Lakes and northwest PA. I was an outdoor educator for a decade and now teach high school science, but I still make time for weekly outdoor adventures. Hiking is my go-to, but I also love kayaking and paddle boarding. I’m certified in wilderness first aid, working on my NY State guide license, and guide for white water rafting. My big goal is to visit all 63 U.S. national parks—Bryce Canyon has been my favorite so far! Excited to connect with others who share a love for the outdoors!

Kai Clow
Hi Folks! I moved from Ontario to BC over 10 years ago and never looked back. From the mountains to the rivers, you can find me playing outside. Some say I have too many hobbies, but I say, I can't wait for y'all to come join me! A few of my favourites are: white water kayaking, hiking, splitboarding, mountain biking, sea kayaking, canoeing and yoga. As a seasoned outdoor guide and instructor, I love to share my tips and tricks and am so excited to grow and learn from this beautiful community.

Arizona
Kathryn Hathaway
Born and raised in California, I’m new to Arizona and excited to explore! A long-time hiker, skier, and backpacker, I also enjoy climbing, paddling, and biking when I can. I recently completed a Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike, a life-changing journey that reignited my passion for the outdoors and inspired me to help others connect through adventure. I’m excited to host hikes, camping trips, and other outings to build community and explore the outdoors together.

New Brunswick
Kristin Neville
Hi! When I am not at the beach, you can find me in the trails or chasing waterfalls. I am lucky to have spent my life exploring, and I now own an outdoors business to help people have fun experiences and create connections to nature.
I am always learning, taking courses/ certifications and I am currently a part-time student in a post graduate program! I look forward to paddling, hiking, learning and exploring with you!
Fun fact, last summer I visited every provincial/ national park in New Brunswick!

North Carolina
Mitzi Moye
As a lifetime North Carolinian, I've had the privilege of being raised with love for the woods, mountains, and the sea. Retiring from a school counselor job after 32 years, I now enjoy more time with family and enjoying the outdoors. Outside is my "happy place"- whether spent with my husband, dear girlfriends or grandchildren. I have traveled extensively, enjoying hikes in our national parks, Iceland and Switzerland...the USA variety is amazing. As a TBI survivor, I appreciate every day on this incredible plant. I hope to meet and share miles with you!

Renee Raeon
I am an avid explorer & intrepid traveler. A registered nurse by day and a (soon to be) wilderness first responder the rest of the time, therefore wellness & safety are core missions of mine. With vast wanderlust in my heart, together we can see it ALL ~ or at least try! :)

British Columbia
Sonia Zimmerman
I was born and raised in Ontario but fell in love with the mountains after a trip to Banff and I knew I needed to be where the mountains are! I lived in Calgary for 2 years where my love of hiking and snowboarding began, but have now been living in the Vancouver, BC area for 6 years. I'm an avid hiker/backpacker and snowboarder and also enjoy paddleboarding and rock climbing. I have my AST-1 and am looking to do my AST-2 in the near future. So excited to share my knowledge and passion for the outdoors with like minded women in this community!
